Experience The True Beauty of Alaska At a Bed And Breakfast
Alaska Bed And Breakfast Offers Special Experiences
Staying at an Alaska bed and breakfast can be a very rewarding experience to those who enjoy a remote hideaway experience in the snow-capped mountains of Alaska. Many of these bed and breakfasts are located in places that are very rural and remote, even making it necessary to be flown in, such as on an island, or riding a snowmobile.
For those who do not care for such an isolated experience, there are bed and breakfasts available inside the towns who cater more to the business people who are traveling in the area. Regardless of the location, the hospitality that you will find within these bed and breakfasts is very warm and inviting, and many guests do not want to leave when their stay is done! Often, friendships are formed by staying at these bed and breakfasts as well.
As part of your stay at an Alaska bed and breakfast, you may have the chance to go on special tours – perhaps ride a snow-mobile or sled, or join your hosts on a whale watching expedition by boat. You could try dog-sledding, which is a popular sport in Alaska, and, upon return to your bed and breakfast you can sit by the fireplace with a warm drink and share stories with your hosts.
You will find your hosts very accommodating, with breakfast options so that you can pick something that suits your preferences, and, if you ask in advance, you could find dinner provided by the hosts as well. If this is not an option, then they will be happy to recommend restaurants in the area.
Your stay at an Alaska bed and breakfast should be one that you will cherish for the rest of your life, and be a special part of your holiday in Alaska.

I'm in my 20's and never really considered B&B's when I was making my vacation plans. I think they always seemed like something older people did. I won a trip to a small Bed and Breakfast in Maine. I went in with low expectations but was quickly won over by the friendly personalized service. The rooms were all exceptional and as good as most of the hotels I've stayed in (not, as I had assumed, cramped guest rooms). And the innkeepers knew all of the sights that were smaller and more quaint. They also got us a great deal on a ski instructor friend of theirs who was able to give us lessons on short notice. Bed and Breakfasts aren't just for older people. They are great vacation spots for people in their 20's.

Of all the states Alaska would be my destination, I would love to go there for its harse and rugged envoironment and to stay in Bed and Breakfasts whilst doing it would be superb, it would give the opportunity to interact with a portion of the community that you just would not get in a hotel and get local infomation at where and what to do at what times. One day when I have won the Lotto I will finally get there… just dream for now
