Get Away From It All At A Florida Bed and Breakfast

Florida is a great holiday destination, but it can be very busy, especially in tourist areas such as the beaches and Orlando.  If you are heading to Florida but want to avoid the crowds, then why not check out one of the many Florida bed and breakfasts available in the area.

Night Swan Intracoastal Bed and Breakfast, Daytona Beach

The Night Swan Intracoastal bed and breakfast is located near the Intracoastal Waterway in the Daytona Beach area. It has its own dock, from which you can watch the marine life up close.  You can enjoy watching everything from pelicans to dolphins as you eat your breakfast on the deck each morning.  They even have special healthy low cholesterol meals which are carefully prepared and taste nice, and they offer a number of organized activities including romantic cruises and trips to the Kennedy Space Center.

PerriHouse Bed and Breakfast - Orlando

Most people automatically think of Orlando when they think of a Florida vacation, and there are several excellent Florida bed and breakfast locations in Orlando. First, the PerriHouse Bed and Breakfast Inn is located just minutes from Disney World, and is a great place to stay when enjoying the magic of a Disney vacation. Set on a two acre lot, this Florida bed and breakfast offers guests a pool and Jacuzzi on the site. The rooms are lavishly decorated and each has their own private bathrooms. The private entrances offer great views of the area, and each room has its own TV and CD player. The breakfast is an expanded continental breakfast, and those who love cooking can use the full service kitchen to cook their own meals!

Thurston House Bed and Breakfast – Lake Eulalia

The Thurston House Bed and Breakfast is located just outside of Orlando, in Lake Eulalia.  It is a quiet, romantic place – constructed in 1885 and carefully restored.  It is ideal for people who want to enjoy Florida but wish to escape the bustle of downtown Orlando.  Each room has a private bath, a TV with a DVD player  and VCR, and a great view of the surrounding countryside.

Hmm, the Night Swan sounds so nice I would almost go to Florida just to stay there - chill with the dolphins, and be able to see the space center.  Nice! What is the price difference between a bed and breakfast and a regular hotel?  There are some great deals on price line if you keep your eyes open.  Would you be giving up too much for small savings opting for a b&b?
