Finding The Best Paris Hotels

Paris is a great city for romantic weekend getaways, and well worth a visit for anyone who enjoys traveling.  Everyone should see the Eiffel Tower at least once in their lives, and the rest of the city is well worth exploring.

Paris can feel like a living movie when you first arrive – the city is vast and glamorous.  Hotels in the city center can be quite expensive, but as you move away from the central walkway and the Eiffel Tower, prices drop quite quickly.

The main currency in France is the Euro – the exchange rate, at the time of writing, is not all that advantageous for Americans, but if you are planning long term, watch the exchange rate and buy when you think that the rate is good enough.

Staying in some nice Paris Hotels will be fun and most want to at least try to stay close to everything.  Paris Hotels will look different than places in the states because it is an entirely different culture.  People adapt quickly and Paris has added things that Americans like.

Enjoying Your Time In France

While this may seem obvious, everyone in France speaks French – lots of people know a little English, so don't worry too much about how you will find your way around, but it is considered polite to at least try to speak French, and you may find people much more helpful and accommodating if you make an effort to address them in their native language.

Book your rooms either online or through a travel agent before you leave – prices can be very high if you just try to walk in and reserve a room.

If this is your first time abroad, it may be a good idea to use a travel agent as they will have a good knowledge of the city and the hotels – if you don't mind doing some research yourself, however, then often, online can be cheaper.

An all inclusive trip can be quite a nice experience if you want to take tours of Paris and be able to visit local museums, etc, all in one package – this kind of holiday can be quite good for someone who wants to get a 'highlights' tour without having to plan everything themselves.

There is a lot to do in Paris – so much you may need more than one visit to experience everything, so remember to take some time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, rather than tiring yourself out trying to do too much in one trip.
